This privacy policy explains how Chicpuffin.com collects and processes your personal data.
The Sales and Marketing Manager at Chicpuffin.com is the data controller for personal data and complaints. The data controller has the ultimate responsibility for ensuring that all processing and handling of personal data is carried out in accordance with applicable legislation. The day-to-day responsibility may be delegated, in which case this will be stated under each individual point in this statement. The delegation only includes the tasks and not the responsibility
Golightly.no has its own data protection officer. The duties of the data protection officer are to provide employees with information and advice on data protection legislation, monitor compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation and internal guidelines. As well as provide advice on data protection implications and be a point of contact for the data subjects and the supervisory authority.
The statement contains information about your rights when storing personal data through a customer relationship with Chicpuffin.com, and general information about how we process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
Golightly does not share personal information with others, or use the information for any purpose other than as stated in this Privacy Policy.
1 PERSONAL INFORMATION
To make a purchase on Chicpuffin.com, we need your name, address, mobile number and email.
This is necessary to be able to send your order to the correct delivery address, keep you updated on order movements and contact you if there is a need in accordance with your orders.
We are required to retain order information for accounting, tax management and any warranty/return handling. This history is deleted after ten years. We also retain the IP address used when ordering for security reasons.
For different purposes we may need other personal data. Which personal data and the purpose of this is described here in the privacy policy.
1.1 YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to access your personal data that Chicpuffin.com has registered in accordance with applicable law. You can at any time request to receive this information free of charge in accordance with the law.
Information shall be provided/transmitted in a secure manner. If the data subject submits the request electronically, and unless the data subject requests otherwise, the information shall be provided in a common electronic form.
You can also, at any time, ask us to delete or correct your personal data, provided that we are not obliged to retain it under applicable law or other obligations we have.
You have the right to receive your personal data that you have provided to Chicpuffin.com - data portability. If technically possible, we can send this information directly to the new business. If not, we will send the information to you via email.
All personal information we send to you in these contexts will be sent in encrypted file format.
You can withdraw the consent you have given us at any time. The consents can be found on my page.
You have the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you feel that your personal data is not being processed in accordance with this statement.
1.2 ARCHIVING PERSONAL INFORMATION
The Accounting Act requires us to store transaction data for 5 years. In order to safeguard customers' rights in connection with warranties and complaints in accordance with the Consumer Purchase Act, the Purchase Act and Chicpuffin.com's terms and conditions of sale, we store purchase history for 10 years.
1.3 SECURITY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Golightly.no has good procedures and comprehensive measures to ensure that unauthorized persons do not gain access to your personal data, and that the processing of data is carried out in accordance with the requirements of applicable legislation. Examples of such measures are risk assessments, implementation of organizational and physical measures, access control and archiving procedures, as well as procedures for handling data and following up on requests regarding the right to access, correction and deletion.
You can be assured that Golightly.no stores your personal information securely.
2 DELIVERY OF GOODS
We ship daily with Posten. Delivery time is calculated from when you place your order. Standard 2-4 business days* (Monday-Friday). Tracking number will be sent to your provided email address as soon as the package is on its way.
Remember to mark your mailbox clearly so that the package arrives. If the mailbox is unmarked or poorly marked, the package will be returned to the sender.
The package will be delivered to a mailbox. If the package is large or there is no coverage for home delivery, the package will be sent to the delivery location.
Note: The address provided must be your own residential address. If the package is to be sent to another address, this must be notified so that the package is sent to the delivery location.
Packages that are not picked up by customers at the pickup location will be invoiced for any shipping costs.
3 PAYMENT SOLUTIONS
At Chicpuffin, you can choose between 5 secure payment methods.
- Card payment – if you use a credit card or debit card for payment, the purchase amount will be deducted from the card on the same day the order is placed.
- Klarna Invoice with 14 days payment deadline. If you choose to pay by invoice, you will receive an invoice by email when the package is shipped from us. The invoice is due within 14 days.
- Klarna Partial payment or account, this is a separate option in the checkout. The invoice will be sent to the same email address that was entered with the order.
- Vipps.

For security reasons, we keep a history that contains the IP address we receive orders from. Payment information at Chicpuffin.com is: IP address, name, address, email and mobile phone number.
All systems that process personal data related to payment of orders are strictly limited to employees who perform necessary tasks related to the order.
3.1
The prices stated on the website apply to orders placed on the website. All prices are stated in NOK and include VAT. Prices do not include payment and shipping fees, which are given separately.
3.2
You can pay for your purchase in the manner specified on the Website. Chicpuffin has the right to debit you already in connection with the order if you have not chosen invoicing or a similar payment method, and this is accepted by Golightly. In the event of invoicing or partial payment, Golightly or its partners shall be able to obtain credit information from third parties. In such case, you will be informed accordingly. Golightly reserves the right at all times not to offer all payment methods, or to change the payment method if the payment method you have chosen, for some reason or another, does not work at the time of fulfilling the order.
3.3
The seller may demand payment for the item from the time it is shipped from the seller to the buyer.
If the buyer uses a credit or debit card to pay, the seller may reserve the purchase price on the card when ordering. The card will be charged the same day the item is shipped.
When paying by invoice, the invoice to the buyer is issued upon shipment of the goods. The payment deadline is stated on the invoice and is a minimum of 14 days from receipt.
Buyers under the age of 18 cannot pay with a subsequent invoice.
The payment methods we offer currently are: Klarna, Paypal, Vipps and card payment.
4 COOKIES AND PIXELS
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you download a website. They are typically used to improve your user experience and remember who you are so you stay logged in.
The purpose of cookies is to provide the online store with basic functionality such as session management, analysis, personalization and marketing.

5.2 ANALYSIS
Chicpuffin.com collects anonymized information about visitors to Chicpuffin.com for analysis.
By anonymous data we mean data that cannot be traced back to a user or person. The purpose of this is to collect statistics that can be used to further develop and improve the website. Examples of this type of data are: the number of visitors to the site, how the site is used, how long the visit lasts, where the users come from and which browsers are used.
We also collect search terms used via the search engine on the website. This is only to improve search results and customer experience, and no information is collected that can be traced back to the user.

5.4 PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES
Chicpuffin.com will not share, sell, transfer or otherwise disclose your personal information other than as described in the privacy policy. Your data will only be shared if we are legally obliged to do so, or if we obtain your consent. Partners will only have access to the information if this is necessary to perform services for Golightly.no. In such cases, data processing agreements are entered into to ensure information security. 6. CHANGES TO THE DECLARATION
If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will post the revised version here with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review the Policy regularly. If major changes are made that materially alter our privacy practices, we may also notify you by other means, such as by email, or on our company website or social media.
7. COMPLAINTS
The right to a complaint covers goods that are defective according to the applicable consumer law. Complaints are only valid if there is a manufacturing defect , not a consumer defect. If there is a defect in the goods, the buyer must, within a reasonable time after it was discovered or should have been discovered, notify the seller that he or she will invoke the defect.
If the item has a defect and this is not due to the buyer or circumstances on the buyer's side, the buyer may, in accordance with the rules in the Consumer Purchase Act, Chapter 6, depending on the circumstances, withhold the purchase price , choose between correction and replacement , demand a price reduction , demand the agreement be terminated and/or demand compensation from the seller.
Complaints to the seller must be made in writing.
8. CONFLICT RESOLUTION
Complaints must be addressed to the seller within 30 days of the order date, cf. points 9 and 10. The parties shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. If this is unsuccessful, the buyer may contact the Norwegian Consumer Council for mediation. The Norwegian Consumer Council is available by telephone at 23 400 500 or www.forbrukerradet.no.
